6 RULES. 3 YEARS. 1000 DRAWINGS. ONE BOOK.
Stilleven (Dutch for “still life”) is a personal project of the author Saskia Evers. She is both author of the text and photography. The book contains a collection of her stories, observations, memories and thoughts. This first edition was produced in limited edition – not for sale in book or design stores – and given as a gift to a few happy recipients, who, in exchange, contributed to the Alzheimer foundation. The gesture is done to honour the author’s mother who passed away after suffering with Alzheimer for 12 years. Saskia Evers is currently working on a second edition which will be made available for sale to the general public in book and design stores.
To fullfill the author’s wish of creating a beautiful book with special paper, Metapaper EXTRAROUGH White was chosen because of its pure and raw feeling. Just like the story told in the book. Libertas Pascal then produced the French brochure with Metapaper EXTRAROUGH White 270 gsm for the cover and 120gsm for the text pages.
