Trains depart on time

Views 35 set 11/2020

The illustrated story of a commuter's everyday life. On finely drawn double pages, one is presented with a visual insight into the details of a morning from early rising to boarding the train to work. Sometimes you will be presented with the narrator's feet getting dressed, sometimes her hands at breakfast but always with her cat as an expectant companion in every moment. After leaving the house, the viewer's gaze floats over the landscape, the streets, the intersections, until finally the observations on the train platform. It is only in the last picture that one sees the narrator herself - boarding the train.
Illustrations with colored pencils, ink and felt-tip pen.
The booklet contains 26 illustrated double pages.
Format: 21 x 24 cm.
Printed in high quality digital printing process on fine paper from Metapaper (EXTRAROUGH White 105g/m2) with a very pleasant, rough feel.
