Zodiac cards - The Rabbit

Project 11/07/2019

Were you born under the sign of the rabbit? If you were then there’s every reason to be happy – as the rabbit is one of the most popular signs of the zodiac due to its predominantly positive character traits. The perception of rabbits is as animals that are calm and inconspicuous. But still waters run deep!
Characteristics of the zodiac
The rabbit is the fifth animal in the Chinese zodiac….and is one which resents some of the best character traits. Rabbits are gentle, calm and extremely polite beings. And also elegant, astute, patient, good-natured, simple and with a strong sense of responsibility.
They are very loyal to their family, and particularly treasure friendships from their childhood and youth because these ties are especially pure and unencumbered. Rabbits treat all those close to them with honesty and wholeheartedness. On first meeting rabbits can be a little unsure and sceptical of strangers – taking time to judge the character – and not easily engaging in a deep relationship….. But once they do…they do so unconditionally.[1]

Paper: Metapaper EXTRASMOOTH Warmwhite
EXTRASMOOTH forms the antithesis to EXTRAROUGH. It is a super smooth natural paper suitable for all printing processes and is one of the few natural papers that is perfectly suited to digital cold foil. Find out more about the paper’s characteristics in our wiki.
Finishing: glossy and transparent hot stamping foil
Hot foils are coated on one side with a substrate which is applied via a heated stamping die and pressure to the print substrate. The substrate might be coloured with high opacity, a metallic or even a transparent material - as seen in the rabbit card application. The gloss foil highlights the rabbit, which otherwise would disappear into the monochrome picture. EXTRASMOOTH as a particularly smooth natural paper together with the chosen green perfectly represent the calm and harmonious character of the rabbit.
