“Art, form and technique” in the creation of a “masterpiece” is a guiding principal of the Bugatti motor company. For the “Chiron” sports car, whose name is an eponym of the legendary racing driver Louis Chiron, Bugatti’s design department and eponymous artbook offers a look behind the scenes of the design process.

The high-quality artbook is presented in a layflat binding with hardcover and blue, metallic foil finishing. The layflat binding allows for stunning illustration presentation as graphics flow seamlessly over the page spreads and allows for a transition-free presentation of the graphics, photographs, drawings and illustrations. Drawings were printed on Metapaper EXTRAROUGH 175gsm which in this context is reminiscent of drawing paper and creates the impression of looking directly at the original drawing. The technical implementation of the artbook was done by Nino Druck.
