Letterpress is a printing process that is currently enjoying a renaissance – originally, the aim of letterpress was to print books in such a way that the ink barely touched the paper. Today, letterpress is about applying as much pressure as possible to achieve the maximum embossing effect, usually on very soft papers that are therefore easy to emboss, such as PURE COTTON or EXTRAROUGH PURE (Extra for Friends & Riso).
