A two-step process in which a metallic effect is applied to paper. The first step sees the paper in the printing machine coated with an adhesive; step two sees a film of metal pigments applied to the sheets and adhering to the adhesive. Once fixed to the paper the metal pigment can be subsequently over printed to create metal tones and effects.
