De Bink is a printing company in Leiden. Cornelis de Bink founded the company in 1882. In all those years the printing company became a total provider for online and offline communication tools. De Bink combines craft printing techniques with new media. Wether it’s designing a poster, building an app, organising a direct mailing or building a webshop, De Bink continues to set high standards and gives you a solution to every question. It is taken care of from concept till the final product.

One of De Bink’s specialties is letterpress. Decades ago, letterpress was the only way of printing. But through the years more and more ways of printing were possible, such as offset printing. Of course, this was way faster, so most printing companies starded using offset printing instead of letterpress and got rid of their letterpress machines. At De Bink it was different. The company started using offset printing, but also kept on using letterpress. And the machines, of which the oldest one is about 60 years old, are still there. New employees of De Bink who come to work in the letterpress department are trained at De Bink, because the official training no longer exists. Because the letterpress department has remained the same, De Bink can still make the most unique and special products that are not possible when using offset printing.
