Berlin Dependance Metapaper

Soon there will be "Pfannkuchen" for Metapaper in addition to "Berliner"*. We are opening a branch in Berlin! Exactly matching our paper and print credo, the location will be with our friends P98A, the letterpress studio in Berlin-Schöneberg. (*Author's note: "Pfannkuchen" and "Berliner" are both terms used to describe a German pastry. "Pfannkuchen" is the term used mostly in East Germany, where Berlin is located.)

New Senior Sales Manager for the Northern sales region
At the same time, Matthias Hugger, Senior Sales Manager from Berlin, will take over the North Sales Region for Metapaper. The North Region includes Northern Germany, Berlin, Dresden, Hamburg and Leipzig and also the Scandinavian regions with particular focus on Denmark and Sweden.

What is our goal?
"Our goal is to build even stronger networks with our print partners and agencies – to enable them to realise all their possibilities and opportunities and to achieve the best possible print product," says Matthias Hugger. "In addition, we want to be more involved in the creative field in general in order to support as many cutting edge print projects as possible."

Why Berlin?
Axel Scheufelen, founder and managing director of Metapaper, commented:
"Berlin is one of the world's most exciting and inspiring cities. Many of our new ideas have been created here. In addition, Berlin is still our most important and, above all, most creative market. Therefore, it is the logical next step for us to become more active from Berlin and to let the creativity of the city flow even more into our business model. With Matthias Hugger in charge of the Northern Region, we want to continue our growth, especially in Northern Germany, Denmark and Sweden. "
