NFC stands for Near Field Communication and is the ideal way to link print and digital together. The way it works is that a NFC chip that contains data is laminated into in the print product. Then, an NFC-enabled smart phone reads the data with the use of an App, and the data automatically opens, displaying websites, movies, calendar entries, etc. The NFC reader is activated in almost every smart phone and will soon be in every phone.
