Can produce a very powerful effect and contrast on a sheet of uncoated paper and is the most ‘obvious’ of varnishes. UV varnish consists of solid bodies and is therefore not so absorbed by the paper such as dispersion varnish. UV varnish can be used over the entire surface or can be used to pick-out specific elements to offer an exciting contrast.
